Saroja Manickam is a third-year student filmmaker and screenwriter at the University of Colorado Denver, where she is a candidate for a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film & Television Production with a Certificate in Proposal and Grant Writing. Through her academic career, Saroja has directed, written, edited, produced, and worked as on set crew on many projects. Her work uses comedy, intimacy, and empathy to explore themes of womanhood and complex interpersonal dynamics.
Her films have been featured in multiple festivals, including the Anchorage International Film Festival, and she continues to develop narrative projects focused on intimate storytelling. Saroja continues to expand her skills through dedicating herself to any opportunities that can expand and strengthen her craft.
